I remember ever since I was younger, I had this sultry voice that some would not understand and others would tease me for. It used to bother me that folks had nothing else to say but focus on my voice to make fun of it. There was that time where I did not quite get why I would get the steers and odd looks and second glances when I would order a coffee or speak in a meeting when I worked in a corporate environment. When I look back now, I finally get it and it means that many were turned on by my voice and they wanted to wander off in their heads about all of the naughtiness that we could get into.
